Michael Vender MD

Dr. Michael I. Vender is among the most experienced hand and wrist surgeons practicing in Illinois and beyond. He is a recognized leader in the field with decades of treating patients suffering from hand and wrist injuries and conditions. Most notably, Chicago Magazine lists Dr. Vender in Chicago's Top Surgeons.

Background and Education

Dr. Vender graduated with Distinction from Stanford University. He then achieved his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, participating in the James Scholar Program. His residency at Northwestern University was in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.  He continued his education with fellowship training in Hand Surgery at the Connecticut Combined Hand Services in Harford, Connecticut.
